Speaking is one of my great joys. I have spoken at women’s retreats, one day events, schools and conferences. As a missionary speaker, I've had the pleasure of sharing my experiences in Papua New Guinea where I served with the Non-print Media Department of the Summer Institute of Linguistics, an arm of Wycliffe Bible Translators. A recording of one experience in P.N.G. was aired on CBC Tapestry.

I am also a frequent teacher at writers’ conferences.

I am available to conduct a workshop called Your Story is Telling - Life Mapping/Life Writing. Through a process of mapping out your personal journey with images and words, I lead participants through a time of prayerful focus on how God has led and directed and been involved in individual lives. If desired, an element on writing techniques can also be added. Many have found this workshop life-changing as they discover how God has moved in the past, giving hope and clarity for the future.

I am currently developing talks in conjunction with my novel, One Smooth Stone, which won the Best New Canadian Christian Author Award from Castle Quay in 2006. These talks will deal with forgiveness and the grace and mercy of God.
